Synopsis:
RO: Furtună la palat este un serial coreean, istoric şi dramatic ce prezintă viaţa regelui Jeongjo, al 22-le rege al dinastiei Joseon. Acesta a rămas în amintirea coreenilor ca fiind înţelegător cu omul de rând în ciuda originii sale regale.

Serialul începe cu copilaria regelui, când se împrieteneşte cu alţi doi copii ce lucreaza la palat, care vor fi mai tarziu expulzaţi. Bunicul lui Jeongjo îl izolează pe tatăl copilului într-un dulap de orez, fără apă şi fără mâncare deoarece se teme că prinţul plănuieşte o lovitură împotriva sa.
